Two British wool qualities in one base: the well-known Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), soft and silky with a slight sheen, and the northern English Masham, almost as soft as the BFL but slightly more crimpy, resulting in a nice halo. The natural greyish brown colour  of the Masham lends the yarn a marbled tone which underpins beautifully the dyed colours. This beautifully light 4ply/fingering version is very suitable for hats, warm, soft and light  scarfs and shawls and light garments.

Zwei wunderbare britische Schafrassen in einem Garn: das bekannte Bluefaced Leicester (gesprochen Lester), weich und leicht seidig glänzend, und das aus Nordengland stammenden Masham (Mas-ham), das fast so weich ist wie das BFL, aber ein wenig krauser. Die natürliche Färbung der Mashamwolle verleiht dem Garn den graubraunen Unterton, der hinter den gefärbten Farben hervorschaut. Diese wunderbar leichte 4ply-Version eignet sich sehr gut für leichte Mützen und warme, weiche und leichte Schals und Tücher. Und natürlich auch für Kleidung.
